Day 01 :

From Fes to the Edge of the Sahara

Your journey begins in the ancient city of Fes, where the call to prayer echoes through maze-like streets and time seems frozen in the medina. As we drive south, the scenery shifts — from the alpine charm of Ifrane to the wild cedar forests of Azrou, home to playful Barbary macaques.

After crossing the Middle Atlas, the landscape opens into the vast Ziz Valley, a ribbon of green cutting through the desert. By sunset, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara. Here, your camel awaits to guide you over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll spend your first night under a blanket of stars in a tranquil desert camp.

Day 02 :

Deep in the Dunes of Merzouga

Today is all about desert immersion. Wake early to watch the sunrise light up the dunes, then enjoy a traditional Berber breakfast. With a full day in Merzouga, you’ll have time to explore the area’s hidden gems: visit a Gnawa music village in Khamlia, discover the seasonal lake of Dayet Srij, or meet nomadic families living on the fringes of the desert.

As the heat fades, climb the dunes for panoramic views, try your hand at sandboarding, or simply relax with mint tea by the fire. Tonight, return to your desert camp for a second unforgettable evening of Berber rhythms and Saharan serenity.

Day 03 :

From the Sahara to the Canyons

After a peaceful morning ride back across the dunes, we depart Merzouga and follow the desert roads west. Along the way, we pass Rissani, a historic market town, and wind toward the magnificent Todra Gorge, where cliffs tower above a crystal-clear river. There’s time for a short walk beneath the soaring canyon walls before continuing into the wild beauty of the Dades Valley.

Known for its twisted rock formations and ancient kasbahs, this region feels like stepping into a painting. Tonight, settle into your guesthouse, nestled deep within the gorge — the silence, stars, and stone surrounding you.

Day 04 :

Exploring Dades and the Valley of Roses

With a full day in Dades Gorges, you’ll dive deeper into this fascinating region. Drive the winding Tissadrine road for unforgettable views, marvel at the strange “Monkey Fingers” rock formations, and wander through lush valleys lined with fig trees and kasbahs.

You’ll also have the chance to explore the lesser-known Rose Valley, especially enchanting in spring when the flowers bloom and the scent of roses fills the air. Visit small Berber villages, sip tea with locals, and experience authentic mountain hospitality. In the evening, return to your Dades accommodation for a second night of rest and reflection.

Day 05 :

Across the Atlas to Marrakech

After breakfast, your journey takes you through the oasis of Skoura, where ancient kasbahs hide among palm trees, and then to Ouarzazate, Morocco’s “Hollywood of the Desert.” You’ll visit the famous Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar where time stands still, before ascending the mighty Tizi n’Tichka Pass. The gateway through the High Atlas Mountains.

As the road winds down toward Marrakech, the scenery softens into olive groves and red clay villages. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in the Red City, where your desert-to-city journey ends — but your Moroccan story is just beginning.
