Day 02 :

Tangier – Chefchaouen

Depart early through the Rif Mountains toward the magical blue-hued town of Chefchaouen. Nestled among dramatic peaks, this town is a photographer’s paradise. Stroll through the blue alleyways, visit the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views, and enjoy a peaceful night in the cool mountain air.

Day 03 :

Chefchaouen – Fes

After breakfast, journey south toward Fes. En route, stop at Volubilis to explore Roman ruins frozen in time. Optionally, visit the imperial city of Meknes before arriving in Fes. In the evening, settle into your traditional riad nestled within the ancient medina.

Day 04 :

Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Leave the bustle of Fes behind and drive through Ifrane (the "Switzerland of Morocco") and cedar forests home to Barbary macaques. Cross the Middle Atlas to Midelt and descend toward the golden dunes of Merzouga. At sunset, mount your camel and ride into the heart of the Sahara. Dinner under the stars awaits at your desert camp.

Day 05 :

Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

Wake to a desert sunrise and journey through Rissani’s vibrant souk, a desert trading hub. Continue toward the Todra Gorges—where sheer cliffs tower around a crystal-clear stream—and end your day in the lush Dades Valley, lined with ancient kasbahs and blooming roses.

Depart early toward the cinematic city of Ouarzazate and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou—an ancient ksar used in countless films. Continue over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) through the High Atlas to reach the vibrant red city of Marrakech.

Departure from Marrakech (or Return to Tangier)
